WELCOME
Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee. Our nearly 150 acres are dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitat provides beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto.
The site reflects the history of the early settlers in the area. Our varied accommodations and casual atmosphere make it possible for several groups to use the camp simultaneously without awareness of others. Riverside Retreat is open to churches of all denominations, secular organizations, schools, families and individuals.
