Riverside Retreat just east of Fort Myers was renamed for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. The nearly 150 acres is dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitats provide beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto..."It's the nature of the place." The site reflects the history of the early settlers in the area and the varied physical accommodations and casual atmosphere make it possible for several groups to use the camp simultaneously without awareness of others.
Riverside Retreat is open to churches of all denominations, secular organizations, schools, families and individuals. Come experience the "Nature of the Place."
